You may run Subverge, read and change its source, and give away or sell copies.

You must include the source with any copy you distribute, keep it under the same license, and state what you changed.

There is no warranty. If install erases a disk, that is your responsibility.

The license covers the kernel, the shell, root, the bootloader and this handbook. Since the point of Subverge is that every part of it can be read and changed while it runs, a free license is the only one that fits.
